As per recent reports, it has been claimed that one out of every six men will be falling prey to prostate cancer during the course of life.

Apart from skin cancer, stats have revealed that prostate cancer is the most widespread form of cancer being suffered by men in the United States. In this regard, the American Cancer Society last year released its estimations claiming that in excess of 240,890 fresh cases are expected to be spotted during the year, out of those around 33,720 were expected to die due to the disease.

For the year in progress, the National Cancer Institute estimates that in excess of 241,740 fresh cases of prostate cancer will come into being, and the traumatizing ailment will be claiming close to 28,170 lives.

A plant-based diet may lower the risk for cancers in general".

In addition, the screening for prostate cancer are generally recommended for men aged 50 or above.
