Porto forward Hulk wants to secure a move to Chelsea this summer in order to boost his chances of playing for Brazil, his agent has confirmed. Brazilian hope: Hulk wants to prove himself in top league (Picture: AFP/Getty Images) The Blues have been locked in negotiations for the 25-year-old for around a month and a half, but the deal is at risk of collapsing, as the two sides struggle to agree on a fee. Hulk has a buyout clause of around ?80 million, but Chelsea believe they can push through a deal for ?30 million and include a series of performance related bonuses that could take the final figure to ?40 million. It?s a tempting package, especially with Porto looking to re-build their side this summer, but they have so far resisted huge offers as the player happy to stay. However, according to agent Teodoro Fonseca, Hulk is now ready to walk away from the Portuguese Champions, with a move to the Premier League likely to boost his chances of representing Brazil at the World Cup in 2014. ?Hulk is among the most coveted players in Europe. He feels good at Porto, he is part of the family, but a departure is not impossible,? Fonseca announced. ?He wants to play at the 2014 World Cup in his homeland and playing in England makes this more realistic.? Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo is currently working on securing other targets, including Wigan flyer Victor Moses, but he?s expected to return to the table in the next two weeks to try and thrash out a transfer. Hulk is currently contracted to Porto until June 2014. LIVE! Transfer blog
